Guest onboarding solutions have become popular lately as they empower guests with functionalities such as checkin online, upgrading their accommodattion prior the arrival, foster communication with personnel, door control and many more. To be able to connect these solutions with Ulyses PMS we recommend to follow the operations

Common operations

Filtering reservations

In the following article we will show you how to filter reservations based on multiple methods. Often we will need to get reservations or roomstays depending on of the booking numb but it will be likely that we need to search for reservations that checked-in/out dates, or a combination of them. In any case, the most important is to get the information we need in order to perform more actions afterwards.

Sending guest information

Properties need to receive guests personal information in order to complete online checkins. This basically includes the registration of guest documentation but the information can even be more extensive (ie preferences, comments). To be able to send this information to Ulyses PMS we will utilize the following operation

Get all available rooms

If the service allows users to select the room where they want to be allocated we should ask Ulyses PMS what rooms are available and matches the accommodation type contracted. 

Add extra services

If the service allows users to add more services on their account we will first need to request the list of services available and then add the charge in the corresponding reservation.
